I’m Changing; I’m Growing
Reverberating in my ears … Sweetheart and I found ourselves singing this song out loud at least once a day when working on tasks, smiling while remembering our granddaughter’s perfectly out-of-tune voice. This principle when belted out, all-in, by such innocence penetrates our cleverly orchestrated approach to solutions and brings it all down to simple concepts. As a child, our physical growth is obvious and celebrated with each loose tooth or new pair of shoes … new abilities giving new possibilities. Mental growth is marked by high velocity consumption, taking in as much as we can as fast as we can, spending wildly as we go and storing up for future use. Then there’s Spiritual growth and the most difficult task … letting go and being led. Our entire existence is defined by lessons sprinkled into experiences … moments of learning if you’re open, growth if you receive them.
Leeeetle by Leeeetle I’m changing; I’m growing.
Leeeetle by Leeeetle I hope that it’s showing.
I’m not who I’ll be. I’m not who I was.
I’m somewhere in the middle.
But God is changing me little by little.
