You Never Know What You’re Going To Get
Or Who You’re Going To See – I’m a curious runner. Things that I typically give little to no notice of become interesting on The Run. It always starts as a physical exercise but it never ends that way … new construction, nature’s ever changing growth, and once in a while reacquainting with a past life. She was there, a part of that busyness and exhaustion of the Baby Years that now I can look back on as a simpler time. Serendipitously running into each other brought both of us instantly back to that space and a smile to our faces. The recognition goes far beyond physical features. It is an acknowledgment of precious life moments carefully placed in the recesses of our mind that had, in that short meet-up, been taken out of storage and enjoyed. It wasn’t euphoric. But it was just the right amount of nourishment to fuel me with satisfaction throughout the rest of the day.
