Brown Dog Pizza, Telluride Colorado
I love good food, real food, real good food. I contend that there is no bad food as long as it’s real, not riddled with preservatives and additives. And when you come across pizza with freshly in-house made Detroit-style deep dish crust with a smorgasbord of toppings … Yes, Please! So after 4 hours on the slopes, we took the gondola down into Telluride to Brown Dog Pizza. Arriving slightly before 4:00, when they open, the obvious option was to enjoy a beer or two at Last Dollar Saloon next door and order the savory slices to go to devour there … and devour we did. Which brings me to my tag line when referring to a delicious meal, “I Am So Happy!” That’s what good food, real food, real good food does every single time … It fulfills the senses and satisfies the soul.
