What’s the meaning of life? … Perhaps to live meaningfully 🙂

First Step: Awareness

Second Step: Acceptance

Third Step: Acknowledgement

That’s the Reader’s Digest version … with every experience. The practice of zoning out until a moment “worthy” of validation, remembrance, celebration is like puddle-jumping from high to high or low to low. All that in-between stuff, that stuff is gold. That stuff doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. And recognition doesn’t have to be high-energy. It shouldn’t be reserved for awesomeness or tragedy, the elation of victory or the agony of defeat, the extreme to both sides of drama. The steps, the little things have equal importance in shaping our day … not more, not less, the same and should be valued as such. And placing value is simply applying the 3 Steps, sometimes with exhilaration and sometimes in quiet recognition.

It’s the road less travelled. It’s the pathway to a grateful life.
