Warby Parker: The Summit

20/20 Vision … I took it for granted for decades. So much so, that when my eyesight began to fade, at first I thought I was having neurological issues. The blurry vision, dizziness all pointed to one, and only one, self-diagnosis – a brain tumor or mini stroke. The slightly-irrational hypochondriac in me had been activated and only after a series of doctor visits and tests did I “see” that a simple prescription for reading glasses would be the solution to my sight issues and anxiety. It turned out to be a blessing and a curse. Glasses were added to my growing list of supplements but that also meant picking out the perfect frames, in other words, Shopping! Style in any form is a happy pastime for me. Fashion now included eyewear and who knew all the choices out there.

Warby Parker-The Summit has an art gallery vibe with one solitary display … frames and lenses of every size, color and style. The aesthetic is minimalist. Displayed with such ease, it invokes a sense of calm. Designed with such simplicity, I wanted to stay and just browse enjoying the eye candy. That’s one end of the shopping experience and it’s a big one for me, but the service, the sealing the deal aspect, is exceptional. The staff is educated in their craft and enthusiastic about the product, helpful in every aspect of the purchasing process.

Take a look If you’re in the market for new readers, sunnies or prescription lenses and see a whole new angle of fashion forward. Warby Parker is a clear winner 🙂
